PD Tools Lookup view - lookupText method could it return other stuff than null

When using LookupView.lookupText() I would like to able to see if something is actually found, since if not a message should be shown.

Currently the method only returns null?

Instead of returning a string, maybe it could return the number of hits as an integer? or alternatively you could maybe return an array of strings, showing the potential matches.

Thank you for raising the RFE. This functionality will be available in release v13.1.0.10 of the PD Tools plug-in suite (and Studio).

LookupView.lookupText() will return a HashMap, mapping error message IDs to descriptions. The number of results can be obtained by checking the size of this Map.
