This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:

Product family - Development Tooling
Product - IBM Fault Analyzer
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Enterprise Tooling
Product - IBM Fault Analyzer
We are having this problem on our JES3 lpars. One production lpar and one test lpar.
Please can you let me know how many lpars have your LE usermod applied i.e. how many currently cannot run FA ?
As for an estimated date for this RFE thecurrent target is the end of 2Q 2015 but this is only an estimate.
Please respond to my prior question. Our users and managers are getting angry.
The users are asking for an estimated date for this request to be completed on Fault Analyzer V13
We will be ordering ZOSR2.1 at the end of January 2015. This order will include Fault Analyzer R13. Since we have so many lpars, the migration/upgrade will take place over the next year and a half after we receive the order.
We will probably order Fault analyzer R13 when we order ZOS R2.1. I have asked management when they plan to order ZOS R2.1. I'm guessing some time next year. Will let you know when management responds.
If it is possible to provide a usermod to accommodate a different separation character it will be made available on V13 only. I see in 24193,7TD,000 that you are currently running V11 as such, please can you provide your migration/upgrade details as this will obviously have an effect on the potential delivery of a usermod.
Thanks
Adrian Simcock
