Possibility to look up specific jobs/transactions and programs etc. in FA extension in VS Code, just like you can in ISPF.

Our users always type in their program initially when using FA in ISPF. We would like the same capability in FA in VS Code

    Sounds good!

I've started working on it. For the next release we'll deliver filtering for text-based columns only, so that you're able to look for specific jobs, transactions, or programs.

I've also opened an implementation tracking discussion on GitHub, so that you're able to see our long-term plan/status.

To clarify, I'd like to procede in the following direction re. filtering. These are the steps, probably delivered via multiple releases, not just in a single block:
    1. Provide per-column filtering, after opening the history file. This is a temporary filtering option, in the sense that the table loads the fault entries, and you're free to filter down rows for the visible columns.
    2. Provide a way to save the filter configuration. This will be a "global" filter, valid for all history files.
    3. Provide a way to save the filter configuration with a name + ask for a filter configuration to apply before opening the history file.

Sounds good? Or did you think about something different?

Yeah I think it's a good enhancement. 16.1.2 will land with sorting (this one was there already), column selection, and column resizing. A per-column filtering option is the natural progression for the history file interface.
