File Manager GUI plugin - Grouping of suppressed records does not display single mode

We did some testing and found that not selecting ‘Group Suppressed Records' the host returns the IMS segment data via theXML. When you click on a an IMS segment the FM Plugin can easily use this IMS data to populate the single dialog box.



With ‘Group Suppressed Records' selected the FM Plugin will send a request to the HOST. The XML data returned will only have IMS data for the currently selected IMS layout. Other layoutrecords will be suppressed and grouped. When the layout is changed this request is shipped to the HOST and FM will return XML containing IMS data for the new IMS layout.. This is similar to the V command in ISPF FM/IMS.



The current plugin design does not allow an easy method of selecting records to expand suppressed group records. This is all done through modifying the current layout. The FM pluginbehaviour is not ideal and the design needs to be reviewed. The best way to do this is a part of the development process.
