This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Its similar to any other app deployment.
For example, in Windows, hodlauncher.msi is available in publish directory and same can be installed on any windows client machines.
Administrators can take the appropriate launcher installer available in publish directory to push into any clients environment (os specific launcher needs to be installed).
Example : in Windows
Without UI: Msiexec /i hodlauncher.msi /qn /l*v install.log
With basic UI: Msiexec /i hodlauncher.msi /qb! /l*v install.log
One can follow windows documentation

This RFE has been opened in relation to the following CASE that has been closed. This was the request/Issue:
When Customer installs the HOD Launcher Client using a "STANDARD" installation way, the files will be created under the following path Directories: C --> Users > My context name > AppData > Local > IBM > Host On Demand Launcher.
Customer is asking to change the STANDARD path and decide a new one, depending on the environment needs.
The feature that is described in this request is a candidate for a future release.
I understand this is of a high priority. I will prioritize this RFE during our monthly triaging and request engineering to take this up as soon as they can for feasibility analysis.
But the RFE process does take some time to triage, prioritize, develop, and deliver.
