Single Sign On with SAML and Microsoft AD in HACP EE

Single Sign On with SAML:
Provide a single sign on feature in HACP EE with SAML as the protocol and Microsoft AD as the directory server.
LDAP is used as a protocol of choice for on-prem authentication for tools like HOD.
HACP EE is a web application where the users might want to log into the application using sinle sign on using devices such as mobile phones or tablets from out side the premises

This becomes an important consideration for the Host Access from Anywhere vision for HACP EE

We have evaluated this request and determined that it cannot be implemented at this time because SAML is an older technology protocol very heavily based on XML and we are considering a more modern approach using OIDC.
