RELATED IDEAS

Require ability to use TLS with LDAP server from HOD Config Server

The HOD HOMSRV task (Configuration Server) can communicate with an LDAP for configuration and user information but the current solution only allows for non-secure connections. Since this connection will have userids and password flowing it should allow for TLS encryption of the LDAP session.

    A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our goal for the secure use of LDAP feature.
    We will be looking into this request.
