Customer would like to be able to run two instances of the IBM Hourglass on the same lpar.

When the customer installs maintenance for Hourglass in their development environment, they have no way of reviewing the impact of the maintenance...whether its corrects the defined issue or causes a new problem. They have a test lpar that they can do basic function testing on, run the $AGGVRFY and test CICS and LE batch function, but that environment is not for their developers.

Their development environment is much more complex where literally thousands of jobs and schedules rely on HourGlass being 100 percent functional. That is why they need to be able to run 2 Hourglass started task on a single lpar.
