SMPE usermod for Hourglass

The Hourglass product needs to zap the z/OS nucleus (IEANUC01) CSECT IEATSTCK in order to fully function. This is currently done with a zap and is a nuisance since the zap is done without SMPE support. This is problematic if further service is applied to z/OS since the Hourglass zap is not ecorded and could be backed out. Also the Hourglass zap job nust be re-run.
Either z/OS or SMP/E should provide a proper usernod to applly these zaps. The current process does not conform to the IBM recommended install process.
Since an IBM SMPE installed product (Hourglass) is making modifications to *another* IBM SMPE installed product (the z/OS nucleus) it behooves the Hourglass product to make these modifications using a usermod. Not to do so is flying in the face of almost everything IBM has written about SMPE usage and standards.
I am raising this RFE at the suggestion of support (See SR 32410,002,866)
