DFS3UACB : BUILD PSB & USE IMS Catalogue

When I create new PSB with old method (compile, link, acb), this methode ddin’t use the Ims catalogue and this mandarore that the DBD is in DBDLIB.

For exemple, you create a new PSB with two PCB. One with DBD in DBDLIB and a second with DBD know only by IMS Catalogue (created by zddl).
This combinaison is impossible to implemented without to do know new DBD created by zddl in DBDLIB.

I must generate this DBDLIB from Catalogue by usage to DFS3LU00.

For the IC for DBD created by zddl, you created PTF UO02444 for APAR PH65481 (TS019341971)

For to be logical, this must be the some for the other product.

Why you don’t make the same for DFS3UACB ?

    I agree. Under IMS Managed ACBs DFS3UACB should use the Directory instead of the Staging ACBLIB. This would prevent a ton of potential problems that could arise from the parallel usage of traditional generation processes (DBDGEN, PSBGEN, ACBGEN) and DDL in the transition time to DDL, which IBM already announced one day will become mandatory (although no date has been announced yet).
