Configurable soapAction in Compiled XML Conversion

It is about the WSDL generated by EST Web Services project Bottom Up.
We found that the soapAction value in the WSDL is not configurable no matter using
Compiled XML Conversion or Interpretive XML Conversion. It bring inconvenience to users as it need manual changes after generation.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for System z

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

This RFE is consistent with our roadmap and is being considered for delivery in the next 2 year time frame. Thanks.

    Hi Denis,

Sorry about the confusion - let me explain the situation a bit more.

We can take a request for enhancement that would make CICS Compiled conversion UI wizard generate the same setting as CICS Interpretive (that is, set soapAction="") so that you don't have to clear it out manually from the WSDL file. We will not be able to provide a UI enhancement that sets soapAction to an arbitrary value though. That is the reason for the rejection for the current RFE based on its current wording. So if you open a new RFE, please make sure you describe it is as the following

"Make CICS Compiled conversion UI wizard generate the same soapAction setting as CICS Interpretive (that is, set soapAction="") "

Sorry about the confusion again, hopefully we can make it right for you. - Gary

This is not desirable, although functionally it could generate what we want, the setup for batch processor is even more complicated than our workaround solution, i.e. to remove the soapAction value manually in the WSDL directly. We don't really want to have two different deployment procedures (using wizard vs batch processor) for just one difference.

this is one of the advanced options that is supported in the "batch processor" mode only. The way to set soapAction is described in the RDz info center: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/ratdevz/v8r5/topic/com.ibm.etools.est.doc/topics/rxmlena0030.html
