RDz proposed content assist elements need to occur in the same order like the Java Editor

Rational Developers for System z proposed content assist elements need to occur in the same order like the Java Editor

1) Standard Proposals like Variables
2) Templates
3) SWT

Currently, when you open open the proposal list in LPEX/Cobol Editor and hit Escape to close it at first the variables list is displayed.

When continuing to write code and hit the cntl+space again (at a different line) the templates will be displayed at first - and not the variables at first.

When invoking content assist if the caret is at the same location you executed it last time, even if the ca is closed and re-opened, it shifts modes between templates and default.

This is confusing for developers. There should only be a single cycle for LPEX content assist by merging the default and template proposals into a single unified list for LPEX.

Thank you for taking the time to submit an enhancement for IBM Developer for z/OS. Customer input is invaluable to our products and many new functions and enhancements result from feedback. All input is very important to us to improve and server our customers.

We realize this Request for Enhancement has been in our backlog for quite some time and it is currently still not in our roadmap for the next two years. Instead of keeping it indefinitely in our backlog we have decided to respond with a decline.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for System z

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for System z

Another solution would be to open the same list first at all times. Do not care if the list is empty or if another list was used previously. Something like this:
1st CTRL-SPACE --> List of Variables and CodeWords
    2nd CTRL-SPACE --> Templates
And no exception to this order.
