RELATED IDEAS

Ability to make FIND/REPLACE window persistent while in any of the editors

It would be a really nice feature if you could either make the FIND/REPLACE window persistent so that it stays open when you click back on the editor. either make an option to be able to move it to somewhere or place it at the top bar so that you always have it open and it's available in the editor.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:

    Product family - Programming Languages

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    We see this as a low priority and it is unlikely to be implemented in the next 2 years due to other higher priority enhancement requests. For now, if you are in an LPEX edit session you can right click and choose Open With COBOL editor and then perform a find/replace, where the dialog will stay open, then once complete you could right click and choose Open with LPEX to get back if you like.

    I think you should update your request to specify the LPEX editor. The Find/Replace window for the COBOL Editor already stays open.
