API for IDz compare functionality (and a save dialog when using the SWAP button in case of sources are in dirty state)

It would be useful to have an API for the IDz compare including the possibility to edit one or both of the two compared sources (similar to the EditorOpener.getInstance().browse/.open).
Additionally there is a problem using the SWAP button. When you compare two files with each other (edit mode) and you change the files in the compare-editor these changes are eliminated when you swap the both views and you didn't save them before.
Actually the changes are kept when you perform a save before, but it is a little bit annoying that you might lose all your modifications when you forget to do this before you swap the two views. So, at least a dialog should appear when changes have been made asking whether the files should be saved.

Hello, this appears to be an issue with Eclipse, not z/OS Explorer. Please open a defect against Eclipse to address this.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. Your request is currently in line with our product strategy and we added it as a candidate for future releases of the product. Thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.

I have created an Eclipse bugzilla entry https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=552352 regarding the additional problem described in this RFE. Please review the recreate steps described in the bugzilla entry and feel free to comment there if you have different steps.
