RDz should allows users to dynamically allocate LRECL of temporary dataset for different types

In RDz the temporary datasets that are used for the edit are created by the end users' systems administrator by way of the setup that is in the startup task.
So if user allocates a dataset to be, for example LRECL 80, all of the different types would also have to be LRECL 80.
The consequence of it is that when a user works through CARMA, he cannot see characters after column 80.

IBM confirmed that this behavior is as designed as RDz does not provide the ability to have types of different LRECL.

Customer would like that RDz allows users to dynamically allocate the temporary dataset for each type based on the LRECL of the type.

Your request is currently inline with our product strategy and we have planned it for a future release of the product. Thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
