RDz

The current RDz build/design expects there to be a 1-2-1 relationship between RDz instance & Endevor Instance.
Given that some mainframe LPARS at GM can have 35 Endevor instances, the approach of running multiple RDz instances per LPAR is not acceptable.
There are multiple Endevor instances/environments per LPAR.

Each Endevor instance has an individual C1DEFLTS & ESI (External Security Interface), so there are multiple versions of these macros.
When a user initially accesses Endevor via the Endevor panels, the selected name (ie:$KAGMKEG) is passed to back to the CLIST and the WAYNC1DF dataset/member name is allocated to the users session. The ENUXSITE exit is then invoked. The C1DEFLTS load module corresponding to the menu selection is loaded into the address space that is assigned to the data definition WAYNC1DF. An IDENTIFY macro is issued to change the name of the module to "C1DEFLTS". At this point, the selected Endevor instance is accessible.

The Endevor Admins often use batch jobs for bulk submits/moves etc and they have the "Environment specific" version of C1DEFLTS hardcoded in their batch JCL jobs via the WAYNCIDF DD statement.
The ESI macro ultimately interacts with ACF2 rules and governs what Endevor Environments the application is authorized to use.
The "new RDz-Endevor" user must use the same Endevor exits.
