Data Set View - Open Member, recognize correct editor

I am not sure if I got the right workspace. We use Wazi Developer for Eclipse version 1.4

When opening a member from the "Data Sets" view, the generic text editor is always used. This means that I cannot use the features of the language specific editors.

Example: If I open a Cobol member, the Cobol editor is not used. The same is true for all other editors (e.g. REXX).

However, if I open these members from the Remote Systems View everything is ok.

Please extend the Data Sets View with the "Discover File Type Function", as well as the consideration of the z/OS file mappings (analog Remote Systems View).

It is difficult to explain to the user why this works in one view and not in the other.

However, your request for enhancement is not currently aligned with our product strategy and vision and we have no plans to address your request in the near future.
