zUNIT: Folder structure for CC ( code coverage) should match to Source File Structure

When generating the code coverage reports and expanded source the folder structure is very different from our current source folder structure. Currently everything is generated dynamically in the CC folder with timestamps, dataset names, and module names which makes it very hard for developers to figure out what source to analyze in Sonarqube.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We have assessed this requirement and we already have source level code coverage feature, which fulfil this requirement.

Source level code coverage is supported with COBOL 6.2 and later, along with z/OS Debugger 15.0.3 and later by using code coverage parameter v,view=SOURCE_ONLY.
The recommended compiler options for collecting code coverage can be found in this document: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/developer-for-zos/15.0.0?topic=gccza-supported-compilers-options-code-coverage-in-debug-tool-compatibility-mode

You may refer to these links for specifying the view option with code coverage:

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/developer-for-zos/15.0.0?topic=daemon-starting-stopping-headless-code-coverage

The request will be kept in Idea system and might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback or voting in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
