Displaying files with non-printable or compressed characters with the LPEX editor

Related case: TS016645534

The LPEX editor does not print all non-printable or compressed characters in the same way, causing the data to be displayed misaligned.

As seen in the attached files, from the terminal (indent.png) we can check that the dates are aligned and formatted, but we are not able to replicate this behaviour with any of the editors in IDz. Neither with the LPEX editor nor with any other. (hostCharacters.png)

We have tried, without success, the "Host Characters" option including some non-printable characters. Is this the only way?

It would be great to have an editor that shows the data properly.

Thanks
