RELATED IDEAS

Enable to set local link option by each member including local cobol project in RD/z.

Our customer's request is allow the placement of both the main program and subprograms in the same package and allow the build to create the EXE and DLLS in that package. This will greatly reduce the number of packages which the customer will manage.

    RDz provides the ability to substitute a customized subproject builder to replace the default RDz subproject builder. The customer can create their own builder to handle this requirement. For more information, please see the RDz help documentation (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ratdevz/v7r6/index.jsp) under Reference > Application Programming Interfaces > Remote Resource Access API > Using the API samples > Specifying a different builder for an MVS subproject. Note that this sample has been available since RDz 7.5 as a Tech Preview.
