    With the release of Wazi Deploy 3.0.5, we have delivered this capability. Please see the "What's New" page at https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/developer-for-zos/17.0.x?topic=deploy-whats-new-in-wazi for more details. Specifically, the part below:


    • New building blocks related to the management of Generation Data Group (GDG) files are now available:

      • The gdg_archive building block copies artifacts from a GDG file to a backup GDG file. For more information, see gdg_archive.

      • The gdg_copy building block copies artifacts to a GDG file. For more information, see gdg_copy.

      • The gdg_delete building block deletes Generation Data Group (GDG) files and their active Generation Data Sets (GDS). For more information, see gdg_delete.

      • The gdg_restore building block copies artifacts from a backup GDG file to a GDG file. For more information, see gdg_restore.
