This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This feature has now been added to Wazi Deploy with the release of 3.0.7. The documentation is at https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/developer-for-zos/17.0.x?topic=deploy-whats-new-in-wazi, specifically:
Migrated data sets are managed in the member_archive, member_copy, member_delete, and member_restore building blocks. Before the data set is accessed to archive, copy, delete, or restore some artifacts, a control is done to check whether the PDS that the building block applies to has been migrated. If such is the case, then an
HRECALLTSO command is run to make the PDS available. To run the
HRECALLcommand, you must indicate the following variables in the artifact type of your environment variables file:recall and its embedded variables for the PDS
recall_back and its embedded variables for the backup PDS for
member_archiveandmember_restoreIf these variables are not set in the environment variables file, then the
HRECALLcommand is not run.Why is an idea needed for this?
Isn't this a bugg!?
