Hide the "one-click" link that assigns the obsolete LPEX editor to 4 extensions in IDz "Preferences"

Like many of your customers, we have taken note of the fact that LPEX is no longer a maintained editor : we have worked hard to assign as many different types and extensions as possible to other more suitable (and maintained) editors.

However, we still have some holdouts, and the fact that by going to Preferences / LPEX Editor / z/OS LPEX Editor, all it takes is one click on the " Click here to set the z Systems LPEX Editor as the default editor for COBOL, JCL, REXX and PL/I Files " link to lose much of this reassignment work is totally counterproductive.

We understand that the complete removal of LPEX, although planned, is not imminent, but could you at least remove this link ?

    I agree - I suppose I was initially thinking of a middle ground and not being destructive. But you have a good point!

    Thank you for submitting this Idea. Your suggestion makes perfect sense and I'm in favor it. I do have one question - instead of completely hiding it, would a compromise be to add a "WARNING" to the link along with having an "Are you sure... " dialog before committing?
