Invalid processing of CICS system copybooks that contain hex values.

Copybook DFHAID and DFHBMSCA contain fields have have value clauses
that are entered with data that cannot be pulled in by RDz correctly
from the mainframe. I found this reference for resolving the DFHAID
issue:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21402871&f1=4&f2=3&f3=no&comment=How%20would%20this%20get%20put%
20into%20RDz%20since%20the%20'copy%20libraries'%20section%20you%20list%
20only%20mainframe%20PDS's.%20%20This%20does%20not%20address%20missing%
20fields%20in%20the%20TSSeries%20copybooks%20that%20are%20in%20the%
20mainframe%20verson%20of%20the%20copybooks.

But I don't see how RDz can be set up to point to copybooks on the PC
as well as the mainframe. Also copybook DFHBMSCA on the PC does not
include all the fields that are on the mainframe version of the
copybook. Two of which are DFHBMPFF and DFHBMPCR. The real solution
is for the mainframe copybooks to be updated with the VALUE X'xx'
layout like the PC versions.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for System z

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for System z

RDz is functionally dependent on CICS to satisfy this request. At this time CICS does not have this item planned. We will work with CICS to bring the item into plan and address but RDz cannot commit to deliver in the next 2 years at this time.

Can you elaborate on the exact scenario. Are you compiling locally using mainframe copybooks (local syntax check)? Do you want mainframe copybooks to have those values?
