RELATED IDEAS

Generate the Symbolic Map from an API instead of from the context menu.

Ability to generate the Symbolic Map programatically. Currently this can only be done from the context menu and requires a set of steps to be done manually by the end user. In order to avoid end user errors the customer would like to perform this tasks invoking an API.

    RDz currently exposes some client side API (i.e. - Remote Resource API) so that customers can extend the product. RDz also provides the ability to execute some functionality (i.e. - Web Services generation) in a batch process, without requiring the RDz UI to be running (sometimes referred to as headless mode). Could you provide more details so that we may determine if this RFE is (1) to provide a programmatic interface to the Generate Symbolic Map function on the client, or (2) to provide the Generate Symbolic Map function in a headless manner?
