RDz COBOL Real Time Syntax Check should detect mis-positioned source elements

In the following sample the code is in error but the Real Time Syntax Check (RTSC) does not detect the problem. A Local Syntax Check or compile will produce an error about the initialize y starting in section A. RTSC should also report an error.

    At this time real-time syntax check is focused on syntax elements such as sentence structure and variable naming; Semantic requirements such as positioning are left to the local syntax check engine. We may eventually add more semantic checking to real-time, but we do not have a plan for addressing it in the next two years. You may resubmit this requirement is 12-18 months for reconsideration if you wish.
