This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We have set up our property groups to match the concatinations that our Endevor system uses. But when programs are first being developed many times programmers will put copybooks and programs in thier own PDS's. To work around this you either override the property group for each program affected, or you have to copy the existing property group and create a new one with the test PDS added. It would be a nice option to be able to use the override property group at a higher level than the program level as a temporary change in the early part of a project, rather than creating additional propetry groups. We already have 26 property groups defined to support all our Endevor enviornments.
Can you please clarify the usecase that prompts you to change or override at member level. If all the source is in single PDS - and those are the ones being built, why can't the properties set at the sub project level be sufficient ? Thanks.
