RELATED IDEAS

Ability to access external help and update site through RDz by use of proxy script

Our users are not able to load the Help content or access the update site through RDz due to our environment which uses proxy script to access external site. The current roadblock delays our rollout plan of RDz to 400 other users. It is quite cumbersome to deploy the client to our users and add an overhead tasks of maintaining helpl contents installed locally and updates too. To our understanding proxy script is curently not supported on the current release of RDz.

    RDz is dependent on base Eclipse to provide this functionality. Until provided within Eclipse, RDz recommends setting up an internal server for help content. These instructions can be found on the infocenter link below -
