Eclipse Style COBOL Editor in IDz not Complaining About Empty ELSE statement

The z/OS COBOL compiler complains if an ELSE block contains no code. This is ok. The Eclipse Style COBOL editor does not complain if an ELSE block contains no code. This is not good because in such a case the programmers only notice their mistake if they do a real compile. Making the COBOL editor detect this Mistake earlier would save time and MIPS.

We are using the following IDz build:
IBM® Developer for z/OS®
Version: 14.2.2
Build id: 14.2.20.202003110207-436

If this can be fixed before the next release, a test fix would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. Your request is currently in line with our product strategy and we added it as a candidate for future releases of the product. Thank you for your suggestion and continued support.
