This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. Your request is currently inline with our product strategy and we have planned it for a future release of the product. Thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

Please reconsider this one.
It is curious why this RFE has been rejected and 31213 and 30079 have not. All the information this RFE requests to be displayed is available in the information currently being downloaded (it displays in Show in Table). The information requested in 31213 and 30079 is not. Our developers use SDSF primarily because RDz/JES doesn't provide queue position, current job step and MAXRC in the JES filter list. If you want developers to use RDz/JES you need to add these features.
Needed
RFE's 31213, 30079 and 30077 should be implemented as a group. A third field should be displayed when listing jobs in a JES filter. This new field would be based on the job status (input, active or held/output). The queue number should be displayed for input jobs, the current step name should be displayed for active jobs and the return code/return info should be displayed for held/output jobs.
job name : job number : queue
job name : job number : step name
job name : job number : return code / return info
The RETURN CODE should be displayed if the job completed normally. The RETURN INFO should be displayed if the job did not complete normally. This is the way MAXRC works in SDSF.

We feel this is a valid requirement but delivery within the RFE 2 year window is not likely. Please resubmit in 12-18 months for reconsideration if still valid.
