Backup for IMS Directories and BSDS - have flexibility to utilize GDGs and set the BACKUP HLQ (with IMSID being added).

We currently backup our IMS Catalog using the following naming standard and GDG's. 

 

IMG2*2.IC1.DFSCD000.DFSCD01A                        <where * is the IMS environment suffix>
IMG2*2.IC1.DFSCD000.DFSCD01A.GxxxV00   

Our intent is to backup the IMS Catalog, Directories and BSDS in a scheduled job at the same time generating the same GDG#

This will provide us a simplified recovery process if we can use the same GDG for all related components when we implement Managed ACBLibs.

 

Secondly, we'd like the IMSID as an option (as we don't want it) in the BACKUP HLQ.

We use HLQ IMG2*2 <which includes our IMSID> therefore having it repeated is of no value to us.
As you can see we have HLQ IMG2T2 and then you add G2T2(IMSID) after the HLQ automatically which is of no value for us.

BACKUP HLQ IMG2T2.IC1.DFSCD000 resolves to IMG2T2.IC1.DFSCD000.G2T2.B01.DI1001
