Dear IBM Team,

We are currently migrating a major insurance application from Java EE to Jakarta EE 10 (Liberty). Throughout this process, we have relied on the IBM IMS TM Resource Adapter (JCA 1.5) to integrate with IMS 15.3 across numerous applications.

However, we have encountered a significant challenge: the IMS TM Resource Adapter is not compatible with the Jakarta EE (Connectors API) namespace. This incompatibility is blocking our migration to WildFly 32, which requires the use of Jakarta packages.

We urgently need an enhancement to the IMS TM Resource Adapter to support the Jakarta EE (Connectors API) namespace, in line with the Javax to Jakarta Namespace Ecosystem Progress outlined by The Eclipse Foundation.

Your prompt attention to this matter would greatly assist us in completing our migration smoothly.
