Dramatically reduce java memory used per WSDL deployed in SGW

SGW 2.1 as well as 2.2 use a lot of Java heap space for each deployed wsdl. This memory used per wsdl has to be dramatically reduced to be able to deploy more than 2000 wsdls in a single SGW instance.

Most of the memory seems to be consumed due to the loaded meta data description (i.e wsdl, schemas).

See also attached PDF.

To simply port SGW to 64 bit Java is not a good choice. Using such huge memory will potentially result in other problems and higher costs.

    Dear Daniel Mueller:

Thank you for submitting this IMS enhancement request.
After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product direction. As a consequence we have, unfortunately, rejected this request.

We appreciate your input to the IMS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of IMS.

    Sincerely,
    Poonam Chitale

I failed to upload a zip file containing all deployed .aar and correlator files as requested by himakar. The error message was "Unknown error has occured while scanning."

Therefor I sent Himakar an email with the requested information.

    Regards
    Daniel

Mail from Himakar Chennapragada sent to Daniel Müller:

Can you please send me a zip file containing the 62 services you have now?
I basically need the .aar files from the 'imssoap/WEB-INF/services' directory, correlator xml files from the 'imssoap/xml' directory. Thanks!

I would like to load them in our system and investigate more. Also it seems that some of the entries show up as duplicate because one entry is for request and the other entry is for response.

Regarding the DefinitionImpl class entry in the HeapAnalyzer (from your email) is part of Axis2 and it must be from a prior "Open Source Contribution" from IBM which is not anything that we bundled. It comes from Axis2 code/jar.
