Reject huge Web Service requests/responses in ICON

This requirement has been submitted as MR1220125727.

To prevent individual Web Service requests from blocking ICON instances they should be rejected by ICON. Instead, a SOAP Fault should be returned. This should be done for SOAP requests or PL/I responses that exceed a certain size that can be specified in a configuration parameter.

    Dear Ms Conzett,

Thank you for submitting this IMS enhancement request.

After a comprehensive review, we regret to inform you that we have determined that at this time this request will not be a candidate for inclusion in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product direction.  Hence, we have rejected this request.

We appreciate your input to the IMS development team.

    Sincerely,
    Tom Morrison

This RFE requirement will be rejected, as requested by Derek Griffiths at Credit Suisse.
The following was sent by email from Derek Griffiths at Credit Suisse on 03/06/2014:

I spoke to my people about this and the general opinion is that we are currently not in a position to clearly specify how this requirement should look and as such there’s seems little point in pursuing it at this point in time. If we should need it at a future date we will create a new RFE. 31179 should be closed.
