Request changes to IMS Global Online change

Currently we are using IMS Global Online Change in our 10 Way IMS Datasharing environment. We are currently looking at migrating to IMS V12. We use an Early Validation when migrating to a new version of IMS however it was identified that we can not run GOLC while the IMS Regions are at different versions of IMS. The IMS Regions share the same ACBLIB however we do specify V11 or V12 in the dataset name. IBM identified that since we are using the ACBSHR=Y in the DFSCGXXX member we will be unalble to perform GOLC while our IMSPLEX is at different versions. We need IBM to fix this and it will halt our IMS V12 migration until this is addressed.

    Dear USAA,

    Thank you for submitting your IMS RFE requirement.

    After working with you to verify that global online change is allowed during IMS migration, you reported in PMR 36456,004,000 that you were able to successfully do global online changes during migration to IMS version 12. We updated RFE 18788 in July asking whether it was all right to close this RFE. Since we have not heard from you, we are rejecting this requirement.

    USAA reports in PMR 36456,004,000 that they successfully tested Global Online Change with a mixed V11 and V12 datasharing environment. Is it ok to close this requirement now?
