MQSeries MQMD data available using an IMS INQY call.

If possible we prefer to connect our MQ Series clients using OTMA, since this solution is more scalable. To minimize allocation of IMS resources, we have made it possible to run these applications in an asyncronous way. Our challenge is to be able to match the incoming request from a client with the 'asyncronous response' that belong to this request with a response from another server.
This is normally solved by using the MQMD values ReplyToQueue and ReplyToQueueManager together with the MQMD-MessageId/Corrlid. Since we can't get access to the MQSeries Message Descriptor in our application, it would be nice to have this available thru an IMS INQY call.

We reviewed this RFE and at this point in time we will not be able to address this request in the near future. For this reason, we are removing this RFE. If you would like to discuss this further please contact, Daphne Isom, email: dsteele4@us.ibm.com.
