The IMS team implemented AUTHLOG=NO in our Training system with positive results. Now they're deciding how to move the change through production. This may take a while as they'll likely change one control region at a time. I'll keep you posted on the results.

Update: The IMS team changed the AUTHLOG parameter in our test system and the results look promising. However, we won't be able to make a final determination until they make the change in production in a couple weeks. Can we keep this RFE open until the end of September.

I wasn't aware of the AUTHLOG parameter and have asked our IMS team to consider setting it to NOMSG.
The change should hit our test systems in a couple of weeks which is when I should be able to tell if it fulfills my requirements. Can we keep this RFE open until I can positively confirm it does?

After reviewing this request for enhancement, we would like to get additional information for further assessment of this requirement.
IMS today already provide the ability to suppress ICH408 messages that may be issued during the processing of IMS DLI AUTH calls by specifying the AUTHLOG in the IMS DFSDCxxx proclib member as described in the following documentation:
