Align all Mainframe Log data from zLDA to SPLUNK with respect to displaying/using consistent timezones from CICS, Netview, Websphere and SYSLOG to all use the same timezones.

This enhancement is not only "useful" but necessary. The amount of time we spend in supporting the product due to "inconsistent" and confusing timezones depending on which type of Mainframe log we are viewing is onerous.

It's basically impossible to have a Dashboard monitoring a mainframe system that includes SYSLOG, SMF, MSGUSR, and NETVIEW information since they are all in different TZ's.

    Hi Jack - I am aware of an outstanding PMR that should address number of these issues. Concurrently, we are also actively looking at any other data types that Splunk may be handling differently (ie. The files that allow clients to add their own log data with their own timestamps).
