optional creation of smf89 records

Node.js has a free of charge license, but an optional priced S&S and its usage is execution based. This optional S&S is only required when node.js is not used as supporting program for others (like zSMS). If node.js is operating as supporting program than S&S is covered via parent program.

As node.js write SMF89 usage records in both cases there is no way to find out required quantity for node.js usage outside of supporting program functionality. So there is need on some configuration settings which allows to optionaly write these smf89.

    Hi Werner,

I don't see Node.js association with zSMS but, there is a dependency on Node.js 20.0 from IBM Tivoli Management Services on z/OS. Is this what you are encountering? Could you provide more information via comment here, or send me an email directly to jcy@us.ibm.com so I can investigate it further.

    Thanks
