    Hello,
An ATF record can belong to multiple traces, so adding the trace id to the record is not feasible.
We plan to solve the problem (of identifying which ATF records belong to which traces) another way, but most likely not by adding a Trace ID.
We will revisit this as part of a broader requirement when we enhance OMEGAMON for IMS.
Meanwhile this requirement is being declined at this point. Please reach out if you have any questions. Regards IBM OMEGAMON Product Management

The idea here was to be able to filter trace results attributed to a particular TRACE definition (as opposed to 'other' TRACE definitions) to accurately identify what has been captured by 'this' particular trace. If that is not possible, then I believe this specific Idea can be closed.
