Use the Installation and Configuration Assistance Tool to customize KEPEDSDF

Currently, panel KM255P2 is used to provide the names, size and storage attributes of the Historical Data Stores. The dialog uses these values to create a customized job for allocation. For example, allocation by SMS Storclass instead of Volser. However, when the dialog creates procedure KEPEDSDF it creates a delete/define using volser instead of the SMS storclass. This will fail in the SMS environment. I am requesting that the dialog customize procedure KEPEDSDF based on the information provided on panel KM255P2.

    ICAT as a tool is being deprecated and no more development work is being added to it.   A new methdology process and tooling we are calling Parmlib is not the primary way of installing and customizing the OMEGAMONs.    There are several tech notes available introducing parmlib and if necessary,  additional information can be given by your client technical specialist on OMEGAMON.  or Mike E  Goodman    megoodma@us.ibm.com   product manager.
