LPAR Clusters attributes "LPAR Name" and "Host LPAR Name" show same
data
.
Problem description
From the OMEGAMON XE on z/0S (M5) agent the LPAR Clusters attributes "LPAR Name" and "Host LPAR Name" show same data in both fields.. the LPAR Name. Is this correct? I believe that the "Host LPAR Name" field should be showing the LPAR's hosting system name. IBM support, you should be able to reproduce this on your test environment. Business impact is operators need hosting system name in LPAR Clusters attributes table to display in TEP along with LPAR name and CPU metrics.

We have decided to reject this RFE and regret if this causes disappointment.
The choice on whether to implement is based on several factors. In this case, the relative priority of the work has meant that we do not believe this item will be delivered in the next 12 months. Please reach out if you have further questions.

We are returning for more information. We think this is "working as designed: The Host LPAR Name is where we issue the LPAR command. In the TEP the value would be the same for each row on a multi-row table.
Can you please review and re-open with further information about what you would like to see, perhaps including an example, to illustrate this.
