Printing using PDT on Windows 10

When using a PDT file to print on Windows 10, nothing gets printed. If we uncheck the "Use PDT" option something gets printed but without the required formatting. Since printing was fine using PDT files in Windows 7, this clearly has to do with the XPS_PASS flag (https://support. microsoft.com/en-us/help/2779300/v4-print-drivers-using-raw-mode-to- send-pcl-postscript-directly-to-the). Apart from installing a "Generic / Text Only" printer in Windows 10, is there any other option to use PDT files for printing?
