PCOMM Password Caching Issue

Per Case number:
TS006884623

PCOM stores the IBM i password encrypted in the Registry.
When a user has changed their PC password, we update their IBM i password (as well as any other passwords) to the new PC password.
The first time they use PCOMM after changing their password, it asks for the old password and new password. This confuses many users and they mistakenly think they have to create another new password. Or they may not have logged into the IBM i in a while (many access several LPARs and may not have used a particular LPAR in since the previous password change).
This requires us to delete the Registry entries so they can enter the new password without knowing the old one.

"Cliff, we had the conference call and was able to show the issue to the PCOM Dev team. We will work on a change to see if it will resolve the user prompt confusion. Maybe make it more like iACS.

We see that you have PCOM 13.0.0 level in production, so the test fix/change will be built at that level."

"Cliff, since this change is going to require modifications to the Personal Communications User Interface and Documentation, the Dev team is asking for an RFE from you to make this a formal request. Can you do that for us?"
