Procedural argument(s) for compiler LIST option

When using the LIST option of the compiler, it produces a pseudo-assembler listing of the entire source, which, according to the Enterprise PL/I for z/OS Programming Guide,

"Specifying the LIST option will increase the time and region required for a compilation. The OFFSET and MAP options may provide the information you need at much less cost."

An option to generate only a pseudo-assembler listing on a per-procedure basis might be useful for those cases where the performance of only one (or a few) specific procedure(s) is of interest.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
    Product - PL/I Compilers

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
    Product - PL/I Compilers

we are not likely to do this in the next 3-5 years, and so we think it's better to reject this than let you think we might be doing it shortly
