Information about "source complexity"

The Cobol V5-Compiler is able to lower the specified optimization level if the source is "too complex", a compiilation with the specified optimization level would take to long.

I would like to have the Enterprise PL/1 compiler compute a "complexity factor" or "function points", too, and print this information at a non-overlookable place in the compile listing. Reducing the optimization level is not necessary: the compile time of programs is very acceptable.

    We like this but have some additional requirement.

    -We would like to be able to set a limit with a Compiler Option
    -This should result in a Compiler Message when the limit is exceeded.
