Textfield does not have maxlength attribute [RTC 46271]

The maxlength (from HTML input text) attribute is not supported in the TextField component.

I would like to see the maxlength attribute supported by EGL since it is a native HTML attribute on the textfield

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
    Product - Business Developer

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
    Product family - Design & development
    Product - Business Developer

    This feature has been implemented in version 8.0.1, which is now available.

    Thank you for this suggestion. We agree that the maxlength attribute should be supported in EGL RUI. We plan to implement this in the next release of RBD.
