Edit data in table-format by using data perspective

For viewing the content of a table we have 2 options (general limitation specified in the preferences->data ?> output ?> limit number of rows retrieved. )

- In the Database Explorer view of the Data perspective, right-click on the table whose contents you want to display, and then select Sample contents.
Results are displayed in the DB Output view of the Data Perspective.
By default the first x rows are returned, it is not possible to determine the rows in the result!
- In the Database Explorer view of the Data perspective, right-click on the database and select New SQL Statement
By using this option we are able to make a specific selection and view the rows for a specific key (or other selection).
Results are displayed in the DB Output view of the Data Perspective.

For editing the content of a table we have only 1 option (general limitation specified in the preferences->data ?> output ?> limit number of rows retrieved. )
- In the Database Explorer view of the Data perspective, right-click on the table whose contents you want to edit, and then select Edit.
Results are displayed in specific editor tab for the table, the output can be modified (edit data in specific row or add/delete rows)
By default the first x rows are returned, it is not possible to determine the rows in the result!

The data perspective is functionality that comes from Eclipse, so this enhancement would need to be implemented by them. You can submit this requirement at eclipse.org.
