RELATED IDEAS

fix test installer needed for Linux

Up to now, fix tests were delivered with a Windows installer. Due to build performance reasons, we have shifted development to Linux machines. We would like to have a Linux installer to add fix test, as the general installation mechanism is also available for Linux.

    Thank you for this input. Currently our fix test install tool is Windows-only, because Linux does not provide some of the functionality that is needed, and we did not have many customers using Linux.

    We will investigate an implementation for Linux, but we do not currently have a time frame for delivery. In the mean time, a workaround is to install fix tests on Windows using our installer tool, and then copy the dropins directory to the Linux machines.
