RBD EGL Rich UI PasswordTextField placeholder

The default properties into RUI widget PasswordTextField do not allow you to set the placeholder or the alternative widget in Dojo DojoTextField which instead has the placeholder property does not allow you to correctly set the input type = password compatible with all browsers.
Below widget definition and 2 test:

pwdField DojoTextField{id = "passwordLogon", placeHolder = "password", maxLength = 10, };

set syle here:
pwdField.style = "text-security: disc; -webkit-text-security: disc; -moz-text-security: disc;";

set type in js here:
window.addEventListener("ready", function(){document.getElementById('passwordLogon').type = 'password';});

Both ways do not solve the problem.
